We are primarily based in Australia, with a gold mine in Sweden.
Alkane is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. We have projects and operations in Central West New South Wales, central Victoria and northern Sweden.
Tomingley
Located approximately 25km southwest of Dubbo in Central West NSW, Tomingley Gold Mine has been producing gold since 2014. It has over 200 employees (more than 250 with contractors and subcontractors).
Costerfield
Producing gold and antimony since 2006, the Costerfield operation lies approximately 10km northeast of Heathcote and 50km east of Bendigo in central Victoria. It has approximately 240 employees and 40 contractors.
Björkdal
The Björkdal underground gold mine lies approximately 28km northwest of Skellefteå and 750km north of Stockholm, Sweden. In operation since 1988, the operation has approximately 259 employees and 70 contractors.
Exploration Centre in Orange
Our experienced exploration team is based in Orange in Central West NSW. They use the latest technologies and field techniques to progress exploration across our tenements, including major projects near Tomingley and Bodangora (Northern Molong Porphyry Project).
Peak Hill Gold Mine
Located in Central West NSW, the Peak Hill Gold Mine site is under care and maintenance. We employ a full-time site supervisor to maintain the active mining leases and infrastructure. The site also hosts field facilities and a core yard for our exploration team.
Perth Headquarters
Most of our executive and senior managers, along with centralised services, are located in Perth.
Dubbo Office
Alkane’s office in Dubbo provides technical and administrative support for our activities across all tenements in Central West NSW.
